Parchment paper is a baker’s best friend! It looks a lot like wax paper, but can be used to line baking dishes or cookie sheets in the oven. Parchment paper is found in the grocery store with the plastic wraps and aluminum foils. You can use parchment paper instead of spraying your dish with cooking spray, that saves on the extra fat content. It can also be used several times. I use the same piece of parchment to make my granola and granola bars, then wipe it off and fold it up and back in the cupboard until next time. I don’t however reuse parchment that I have used for cooking meats.
